  2. I flew with Air Asia couple of times, Its not bad if you don't need any services on board. Well, with what is happening with Malaysian Airlines, it might help AirAsia even further.

Nice and clear blog. I will definitely check back in to find out more about AirAsia.

  3. I found the interview with Tony Fernandes and the current problems Air Asia are facing. My company, China Eastern Airlines at the end of 2012 saw a 35.45% reduction in profits on the previous year (that was for the whole year and not the quarter though) although that profit was still RMB2,954 million. In terms of AirAsia increasing flights to Europe, CEA is trying to focus on the American market a bit more.
I'm looking forward to reading more!

  4. Hi Geogia!

My firm is Flybe Uk . I can tell both of our firms have a common difficulties. Flybe's latest report stated the loss of March 2013 is f ₤41.8m . Therefore, they are process their cost-saving project such as axing staffs, selling their assets and cutting some unprofitable routes. As the results, group revenues rose to £351.1m in the six months, up from £340.8m in the same period last year (2013) .
As in your article, Air Asia is expanding more routes in Europe regional areas, so I believe Flybe will be facing another tough competitor in the future :)

    Cheers,
